A happy couple are celebrating after getting the keys to their first home – built by Cannon Kirk.
Drama Teacher Abbie Ashman and her partner Jacob Vince, an agricultural engineer have recently moved into their first ever home.
The couple have returned to their roots by moving into the Littleport area, buying their first home in Highfields Prior.
Abbie has lived in Ely her whole life, and her family are from Littleport, while Jacob is originally from Soham before moving to Midenhall.
They wanted to find a brand-new home to move to as they live busy lives, and so when they saw the one being built by Cannon Kirk, they knew it had to be theirs.
Abbie said: “A fresh, clean and new house was always a top priority to both of us. We wanted somewhere that was going to be homely without the work of a fixer upper! We were particularly drawn to the quiet yet well situated location of the house. The area felt safe. The house itself as mentioned felt open and spacious and we both got excited at the opportunity to put our own stamp on the property.”
The couple bought the Bramley style three bed home and said moving day was a ‘breeze’.
“We had an amazing buying process with Cannon Kirk. The whole team communicated with us regularly, helping us through a process we were new to. Closer to the time we received emails to keep us in the loop and so we knew what to expect.
“Moving in day was seamless with Mandy greeting us, covering all the paperwork and leaving us with a clear idea of jobs to do, which could have been an overwhelming situation. The new house is fresh and has been finished to a high standard,” added Jacob.
The couple praised Cannon Kirk and said they would highly recommend buying a property from them.
Mandy Lott, sales manager for Cannon Kirk Homes said: “We are always so pleased when we get such positive feedback from our customers and it really does make it all worthwhile seeing them so happy on moving day. Buying a first home too is a very special occasion for anyone so it’s lovely to be able to help them along the way to such a milestone.”
